Supports my theory on (many of the) rules changes.
The D-1 officials aren't good enough to remember the differences with the WNBA so they make rules changes to be consistent and let the D-3 officials (who also do HS) deal with the differences. ;)
It's why I like to limit pre-game rules discussions to the rule set being officiated. I don't like any references to NCAA or NBA when doing HS, HS or NBA when doing college. And I do have to know NBA rules and mechanics also when I work the local pro-am during the summer.

IMO, when is comes to advances in officiating (i.e. mechcanics, court coverage, and rule changes) they are winning at the college woman's level.
