Patent vs. matte Reebok zigs

What is your preference - patent leather or matte for your shoes?

Patent. I don't have to shine them.

Matte for me. I can't stand patent leather, looks 'fake' and plasticky to me. Didn't like them when I was in the Army, don't like them now. But that's just me.

I own a pair of each. You'll be the one wearing them so you have decide which looks better for you.

There are powers that be who dictate that certain shoes can't be worn for reasons other than not being all black?

I don't know about "can't be worn" but "strongly prefer", yes.

I agree with Bob. While some don't say you must wear patent, at least one of my coordinators says "all black shoes either patent or polished to a high shine".
