Ironically, my HS football crew (without me, I had another game) showed up at a school this morning to work a JV game. The coaches had canceled the game without notifying the athletic director OR the contest officials. The 4 officials scheduled will get paid (and were apologized to) and I'm guessing the coaches will get an earful from the AD on Monday.

Had that happen in HS volleyball couple of years ago - not only did we get the match fee, BUT....I, at least, got the resched!
