I am proud to say I don't do Little League, however, I can appreciate people like Rich.

From what I've seen Rich has demonstrated that not only was the umpire wrong, the decision as to what to do now belongs to the board. If they deem it proper to resume play, they will, of course expect that to happen in accordance with the rules. e.g. nine players per side.

What you seem to be saying is that you believe that since the umpire said "forfeit", you don't have to follow the rules. Sorry. His mistake does not exempt you from the rules.

If on the other hand you are saying you don't approve of the LL rules, then maybe you should find a league with rules closer to your liking. That's what I did.
