I just wanted to let everyone know about the interview with Andy Konyar appearing at eUmpire.com.

Find out Andy's advice on how you can work the Little League World Series, hear his thoughts on Internet umpiring forums, and read his response to critics of the umpiring crew in this year's LLWS.

Check it out at www.eUmpire.com - - the BEST magazine for sports officials - on-line or off!

Sincerely,
Jim Porter

Unhappy

Maybe I missed something along the way; but, in my 17 years of involvement as either an umpire, coach, manager, director, VP or Pres with LL I've yet to see anything in writing be it Fairball - Umpire registry or any other correspondence regarding how an umpire can participate at the national level.
Yet, BabeRuth sends out a newsletter and application to its registered and certified umpires.
Perhaps LL needs to work on this along with its registry system.

24 hours? What a RIP! How does immediately morph into 24 hours?

Extremely disappointed at what is clearly deceptive advertising at eumpire.com.

Dave,

Thanks for your comments. Perhaps our choice of words on the join page was not the best.

Most members receive their information very quickly after submitting their online application. However, sometimes an incorrect e-mail address is entered, etc. which causes that person not to receive their information.

We are currently working on an automated solution that will be much more robust than what we currently have in place. I think that you will find that a lot of improvements are always taking place at eUmpire! If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me directly at [email protected]

Thanks,
Brad

Here's how it works: Sign-up for eUmpire by completing the simple form below and begin
enjoying the membership privileges immediately.

Dave before I sign up I wanted to get your viewpoints first.

I presently subscribe to referee magazine, where I get a reduced rate for my insurance each year. The insurance coverage is $3 million. The cost including magazine is $79/yr.

Does eUmpire have something similiar?

In your opinion, after you have a chance to sample eUmpire - what are the advantages / disadvantages to that of referee magazine?

Thanks in advance for your input.

When we began eReferee/eUmpire we offered an insurance package, but found that most of our members already had coverage through the National Federation and/or their local associations. So, we have since focused on increasing our content and services online.

Also, Pete, we offer a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee. Try us out for 30 days - if you decide that eUmpire (and eReferee - included) is not for you, simply drop us an e-mail to that effect and we will refund your entire membership fee.

Thanks,
Brad
