I'm a first year umpire in San Diego county and I need to aquire all the gear. I would like to find a website which critiques all the different brands and styles of equipment and I am also interested in buying used stuff.

Try these

http://www.gerrydavis.com/Merchant2/...gory_Code=BSBL

and

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=hon...ire+equipment+

http://www.lestersupstatesports.com/...tegory_Code=BA

The aforementioned should get you started

I also had located some used gear at ebay.com. I haven't looked recently, but in the past, they have had chest protectors, shin guards, masks and shoes. That's one of those things where you have to look at just the right time. Good Luck.

I've got a Honigs Lite Weight Mask (#K81) with brand new doeskin pads that I can sell to you. The mask is about two years old (besides the doeskin pads). The mask comes with a bag and a throat protector. I am asking for $35 plus the exact cost of shipping. Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you are interested. Thank you.
