Tights

Two reasons to wear tights while working the plate:
1) keeps your shin guards from rubbing your legs raw.

2) Just in case the rear seam of your plate pants suffers a catastrophic blowout in the bottom of the 5th inning.

Go ahead, ask me how I know these things.
