Question

Has anybody heard yet who MLB assigned to umpire in the ALCS or the NLCS yet?

Could be a number of "self-proclaimed" experts:

Pete
Carl
Tee

We just might see them out there.

Please list any post where I have proclaimed myself any type expert or even an authority on any umpire subject.

I post my opinion and document as I see necessary.

First off I am honored that you put me in such company as Carl and TEE who have been at this a heck of a lot longer than I have.

I also echo Tee's statement. No-where any-where did I proclaim myself a resident expert. I simply answer a question and support my view. Not everyone agrees otherwise life would be boring, but to disagree with something (which you have been known to do) simply for the sake of disagreeing is counter productive.

BTW Carl and TEE who has the dish for tonight's game?

Just an FYI for everyone, the crew of umpires for the World Series will be selected from the crews working the ALCS & NLCS. Here is my thought of a crew for the World Series.

HP- Ed Montague
1st- Tim Welke
2nd- Dale Scott
3rd- Jeff Kellogg
LF- Dana DeMuth
RF- Ed Rapuano

john,
The crews are picked from the LDS. The World Series crew will be:
Jerry Crawford
Tim McClelland
Mike Reilly
Tim Tschida
Angel Hernandez
Mike Winters

Robert,

Thank you for the information. I do have two questions, is this your guess for a World Series umpiring crew or this is the actuall confirmed crew for this year's World Series?

John

Lightbulb World Series Crew

I think Aligator Bag has the right Idea. Jerry Crawford taught me a lot about plate work at Tony Thompson's International camp in Atlanta last year. I will put in a shameless plug for the camp. It is the best 3.5 days of instruction and I recommend it for anyone interested in improving.
