CB Bucknor Spending the Night with the Mets and Cards

Good job by CB - who gets a lot of negative type remarks in places like this - in keeping his energy up, and keeping a consistent zone over 20 inning..almost seven hours....and God knows how many pitching/lineup changes. One would love to see his lineup cards from last night! Dana DeMuth did a nice job on some...interesting...plays at second.

Good thing the Mets/Cards game today is the ESPN Sunday Night game - Ol' CB is probably sitting in the sauna as we speak! I don't care what kind of shape you are in - doing 500+ pitches in one game has got to do something to you...

6 hours 53 minutes is well over double the length of most games. 3 times the length of what I like minor ball games to go.

Kudos to the crew for staying awake.
