I might not get really cold in Vista where Kyle lives, but I remember doing a Julian HS game 60 miles east of San Diego in sub-freezing weather with snow flurries and 40 plus MPH winds blowing straight in from center field. We do have cold weather here too! And this was in early April!

I remember this so clearly because I was at the beach during the morning and early afternoon and it was in the 80s, so I didn't think I needed a jacket for my plate game in Julian. I was wrong. And cold. The Julian team loaned me one of their varsity windbreakers for the game.:o
