Right up there with pitch hitting hand then bat, bang-bang, and then landing in fair territory. Like this play Guccione had, it usually ends with an ejection, except it's usually the defensive manager.

"Gooch" is one hell of an umpire and represents himself and the profession extremely well. From what I hear, he will soon be joined by a number of his AAA brethern in the Majors. Maybe the largest one year immigration of new umpires since the strike.
