I was at one of the California League play-off games in San Jose this year and the plate guy was wearing a Navy shirt and the base guys were wearing the black smocks. I thought they looked awful. Called a great game though, IMHO.

I think black jackets are okay with black or MLB blue shirts, but would look awful with navy.
