Cubs v Mariners

The same friend looking for a jacket mentioned a call from yesterday's Cubs v Mariners game. He said Ted Barrett (?) was working 1B and made a catch/no catch call that was horrible. Did anyone else see this.

According to my friend the right fielder caught the ball on the run, took about three steps and slammed into the wall. The ball popped out of the glove but it was still ruled a catch.

Without having seen the play -- sounds like it may have been "no catch" as he did not have complete control of the ball. (see 2.00 of OBR)

Spring Training for the umps too. Saw Bob Davidson on the dish last week...didn't call a balk...I was hoping I'd see one live...no luck.
