Found this online, according to which Garry Schumacher first used the term.

Just Jargoning

List of baseball jargon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Side note: Also missing some fun LSU area "Cajun" baseball terms.
Two particular words that come to mind are quaidis and bocephus.
In country boy terms, both are less known 2nd cousins to the lesser thrown eephus pitch.
The 1st term, quaidis, describes a very good pitch, often swung at and not very hittable.
The 2nd term comes from famous country music legend Hank Williams Jr's nickname.
Bocephus describes the very same pitch after its been hammered for extra bases.
In hindsight, it refers to the pitcher giving up mutiple RBIs on one pitch.
"Who knows where the next great rhubarb will come?"
