FED rules:

DH batting for Pitcher

Top of inning:

Pitcher bats for DH and gets a hit.
DH runs for pitcher.

Bottom of inning:

Pitcher returns to pitch.

Legal?

Assuming neither F1 nor the DH was removed from (and returned to) the game prior to this, legal. The DH (player)has now been removed twice and cannot return. The DH (position) has now been eliminated. The pitcher has been removed once. IF he's removed again, he cannot return.
