I personally would have no problem working with Dave on the field, and I agree with others here who have mentioned what he did for umpires. Dave helped improve not only D-I umpiring but D-II and D-III as well. In short, he brought NCAA baseball umpiring into the 21st century in more ways than one.

Notice that I filled my name in the blank. Big deal. I can make the same generic statement about almost every umpire in the game. Name one who was worthless, and you don't owe a penny more.

No fair, you peaked at his resume.

Are you teasing them? Any minor league umpire who wishes any success on any field better leave those minor league issues off the field.

Dear SAump:

If you are going to change my statement so significantly as to replace the person I was speaking about with the name of someone else, please have the integrity to remove my name from the quote. You have posted an out and out lie when it begins with "Originally posted by Anonymous 67." I posted no such thing.

I see that you are comfortable with being a liar. That's worthwhile information to know.

Were your comments suppose to cause me some grief?
What did you expect? "Liar, liar pants on fire."
