Oh, I thought you were going to tell us about a trip you were taking, since you were wandering .

The answer is is false. A true statement would be after ball is touched by the fielder. The runner does not need to wait for the ball to be caught. It's one of those so-called "trick" questions.

I had a long rebuttal to dispute Steve's thoughts of the trick question. However, after re-reading the question, I think he's right.

The way the question is worded leads you away from the wording in the rules. The runner "shall touch his base after the batted ball has been caught by a fielder" is not correct.

FALSE. Same thing ManInBlue said. Its not a trick question, it was exactly how it was worded. It's a good question for a FED cert.

That's why I said "so called" trick question. The question is designed to appear to be a true statement, knowingly misleading the test taker.

Not a trick question, but intentionally designed to fool some of the people some of the time.

I agree with your answer, but your arithmetic could use some work.

The FED folks are getting smarter - fewer "weird" or "trick" questions this year. If you look up the rules references for each question, you'll find almost all of the answers verbatum. Part 2 test is much the same this year. Nicely done, FED!
