plus pos - status? inventory?

Does anyone know (as in KNOW, not guess) what the status of plus pos really is?

Actually, what I am interested in is what the did with all their STUFF? Shoes, equipment, apparel? Eventually.. someone would pick that up and offer it up.

Trolling for deals....

If they had any inventory, they wouldn't have had so many problems.

I know one of the kids was selling stuff on eBay a while back. I got a bunch of those long sleeved jerseys. There's a number of NOS(new old stock) pants there right now. Perhaps that's the start.

All I know is about 4 years ago; the owner's wife died who were the brains of the operation. She kept the business going and even when they had problems she kept everything running smoothly. Ever since she died, things for them have gone into the tank. I am a board member of an organization that runs camps in Football, Basketball and Baseball/Softball and +POS was always present at each clinic along with Honigs and Gerry Davis Sports. They have not come to the clinics put one time in that time (which was several years ago). Now the website is down and it seems like no one knows what is going on. Something tells me they are just gone out of business and that is the last we are going to hear from them. It did not help they were getting beat up all the time on the internet by their bad service in recent years. I just remember I got all my stuff from them when I first started baseball. It is kind of sad they have fallen so far.

Peace

I got a lot of my first gear from them.
I was in their offices last year during a major remodel of the place. Guess that doesn't matter on-line.
Plus POS is gone and Chuck Hyatt moved to Alabama. So the closest outlet is GD in Appleton. Chicago is just stuck in the middle.

Honestly, what Hyatt had was very sub-par. The quality of his stuff was not what many considered top notch. You can order from Gerry Davis or Honigs and they will get it there in a matter of a day or so. Plus-Pos would not have much of the inventory in the first place. I can see why they no longer were having the same success.

Peace
