GAMBLING.

Super Bowl Sunday generates the most action of any sporting event.

It's also why Soccer will never make it. Over/Under 3.

I don't believe that success is that significantly hinged to gambling, I sure hope not. I coached soccer, to this day the game eludes my understanding. My teams were terrible, they had an awful coach who got the leftovers, we were doomed, doomed, I say. :p

Boring boob tube doesn't assist rankings either, Tim..

Deeja vu :D , I came out of a meeting where a 35yo software professional making $10,000 a month for 120 hours  argued for ten minutes that he had "read" 11 pages of text. Each page was only half full at best. He could not repeat a single line.

Read = viewed = glimpsed = flashed like a MTV video in three second sequences = software pros meaning of the word "read". We thought he was being an asshat but he really believed he "read" the pages.. Perfect for the matchlike attetntion you rightfuly claim.
