Friend of mine has big report to write today

A good friend of mine is in the South Atlantic League, where two teams have brawled two nights in a row. At least he and his partner know how to handle them!

He and his partner have to be getting carpal-tunnel from the reports they have to write:

You would think the MLB clubs would have stepped in and done something about this before now. And then of course, the station has to get the "Soccer mom" and the "touchy/feely tsk, tsk" interview too....

If I have a MiLB coach who allowed this crap, I'd pack him. These are assets of the MLB club. Stupid injuries can ruin careers.

OTOH, MiLB thrives on entertainment and tsk tsk interviews aside, that's entertainment, sadly enough.

I know the plate umpire in that game. This had been brewing for awhile. Plenty of suspensions and fines handed out.
