I mean, seriously, why would anyone want to leave San Diego. It's absolutely gorgeous here. Great weather, beautiful city, and really good baseball. Only out of jealousy would anyone go out of their way to insult this fine city. I guess I'd be jealous too if I lived where it rains 300 days out of the year.

Yeah, but Schottenheimer still couldn't get yall out of the first round ;)

Wow. I sure missed it. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

My comment had nothing to do with the quality of games, so when BU56 posted, I thought he had changed the subject,

Sure glad I don't live where it rains 300 days a year, either, where ever that is...the Olympic Peninsula, maybe? That's okay, a lot people make the incorrect assumption that Spokane is just outside of Seattle. It's a bit farther than that, about 280 miles.

Spokane is situated between a desert and the slope to the Rockies, so we don't have the kind of weather the west side of the state has. And, half of our days of precipitation are in the winter, when it snows.

And, so that you know, I lived long enough in California to experience the good, the bad and the ugly. It's a great place to visit. We own a place down there on the beach and and stay there four times a year.

Evergreen wouldn't be my pick.
Bananas were also impossible to locate within the US.
Funny though, I couldn't find a delicious watermelon either.

Reminds me of the old saying: "California is the granola state. What ain't fruits and nuts are flakes."

Welcome to San Diego, now go home...but leave your daughter.

Perhaps I should have left a [sarcasm] tag [/sarcasm] around the entire message. Being from the Midwest, and still having a foot of snow on the ground, I could think of very few places I'd rather work games right now than Southern California.

Tim.

San Diego is a good place from what I've read. Lots of beaches. And any place that brings up David Wells can't be too bad.
