all star head gear
opinions
MVP 2200 SL is reasonable priced and I have used my partners and I liked it. MVP 2100 SP is more expense, but is Kevlar. MVP 3000 SL looks like it would be very comfortable to wear. Any other models I need to look at? Thanks |

I use an All-Star MVP2000 and like it very much. The only complaint I have is common to some other HSMs: it can be very loud if a ball hits it right.
Otherwise, vision is exceptional, protection is great, and it goes on and off very easily. It comes in one size. I wear a size 7½, and it's quite comfortable. Wearing a mask for three decades of course seemed normal. I am sure I will never go back, though.

Go there and find a dealer in your area. One thing I've noticed is that there are several brands of HSM that are all the same. Looks to me like the factory just rebrands the stuff. Easton and TAG are a good example of this. |
