Rip Van Winkle did not sleep as long as
this Forum has been idle. Come on, we
can't all be sitting home because it has
rained for 12 straight days. Actually
it did not rain today, but still just a
little wet.

How about them Horns.

How about Barry Bonds.

How about Almonte??

The NCAA football season is in full swing today. That might take some posters away for the day.

Where is it raining? We're having our usually hot, sunny day.

Bob,

I am from East Texas. Little town fifty miles
north of Beaumont (site of AFA 18U Nationals)
{softball}. Am approx'ly 120 northeast of Houston.
Only have two tournaments left for season. Both
are softball. The first is 12U through 18U ASA and
the last one is college 5-6-7 October. USL hosting.
(U. Southern Louisiana).

Thumbs up

Glen:

I am from North Texas. A little town by the name of Denison, site of several Dixie National Championships. We are getting a storm as I speak, and have been getting them pretty much for the past two weeks. You won't find me complaining though, sure beats the drought of last year.

Oh, I agree the the last two years were dry. We got
4 1/2" last nite, it really poured. Guess I will
just have to watch Pro-football today.

bored?

I worked a wood bat 18U game yesterday. It was fun. Got a foul ball square between the eyes. WV single-bar worked well, but since it was such a direct hit, the mask compressed square on my face rather than spinning off to a side. No pain, but I did have a headache the rest of the day.
