Well, in any case...
I think he was one of the best Commentators on Sports TV. We can not judge, nor will we ever really know what happened. It's just too bad. My money is on FOX Network picking him up. If they do, I'll spend a little more time on channel 37 (in my area).

Whatever the reason for Reynolds' firing, I don't want to take any easy cheap shots at him. I hate to see anyone lose their livelyhood to which they worked hard to attain. He was never my favorite, and I often joked about his rule interpretations, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. It's a shame to lose a job over some skirt, or remarks about A-Rod, or any other lame reason ESPN could come up with to justify their change in direction.
I wish Harold Reynolds all the best, and hope that he gets another good gig soon.

There had been rumors in the broadcast circles for years that Harold had a habit of pressuring female employees to "go along to get along". It seems that he finally met a couple that wouldn't go along. Good.

OK, let's start a pool as to just when the unRev. Jesse Jackson will get involved in this firing.
I'm surprised he hasn't called a press conference already. Must be because he found out Reynolds voted for Bush or something. |
