Thumbs up

Welcome to the forum, and welcome to umpiring.

I suggest you spend some time reading posts before you post yourself. Figure out who to listen too, who to ignore, what information we need to answer a question, and what our abbreviations are.

Looking forward to your posts.

Welcome, Dan. It's great to see younger umpires stepping up to learn this avocation. You'll find the most grizzled of veterans here who aren't afraid to ruffle a few feathers when giving advice. Just remember that it's always intended to further the art of officiating and accept it in that spirit.

Tim.

Tim's right. I would add that you'll find a few veterans here who aren't afraid to use apostrophes when necessary. Just remember that it's always intended to further the art of communication, and accept it in that spirit.
