i normally agree with you and ignore him...except on one thing: he taught me that the hands are a part of the bat while watching the LLWS a few years back.

I agree that HR is a dolt when it comes to the rules of baseball. However he is incredibly knowledgeable about how to play the game and is always willing to impart that knowledge to younger players. You have to give him credit for that.
