Who SENT the players off the field? In the thread I vaguely remember, both teams left the field thinking there were 3 outs, and the umpires assumed they had the wrong number of outs. The poster said they just continued the game and never mentioned that the umpires thought there were only 2 outs. I recall the poster opined that he felt the offense conceded the third out by leaving the field.
Personally, I would try to figure out why I only had 2 outs and the teams had 3. Bob P.
