Help!!!!!
OK, I live in tlanta, Georgia and I really want to start umpiring. I already ref basketball games but I also want to start umpiring. Can you guys tell me what to do. Also, if there are any websites that will help me sign up or whatever that would be great. Thanks

Contact local youth leagues and find out who their assignor is. You can also contact one of the HS athletic departments and find the name of the HS assignor (or stop at a game and ask an umpire). The assignors will advise you as to your next step(s).

you might try the contacts at the southern umpires camp.
http://www.baseballumpirecamps.com/ Kevin Smith, one of the staff guys, works HS ball in the Atlanta area and should be able to get you in the right direction... stay away from that softball stuff....it's for girls.
