I had triple by-pass surgery ten years ago. I
was umpiring then, and do now. Once the problems are detected and taken care of and you follow the medication prescribed and watch the things you eat, you can continue right on doing the things you want. The long tournaments in July/August are the ones that you really want to watch your fluid intake when performing. Drink plenty and eat fruits. Water is best fluid. Strawberries, bannanas and oranges great for snacking.
