NB Plate Shoe Defect

I was just informed by Kessler Team Sports in Georgia that the New Balance Plate Shoe has a defect and is no longer is being sold until NB resolves the issue. Apparantly the rivets that hold the metatarsal plate are popping off. Anyone out there who has worn them for a few plate jobs having this problem??

I have worked 7 games and no problems so far. Really like the NB plate shoe.
