Question

I have been out of umpiring for about six years, and would like to get back into umpiring. I live in South Fort Worth Texas, and have made multiple searches for Umpiring Association that I could join but to no avail. Can someone please provide information as to the local associations that umpire the Pony Leagues in this area. Thanks.

Contact TASO(Texas Association of Sports Officials) at this link. They should be able to point you in the right direction. If I'm not mistaken I think Carl Childress is quite involved with TASO. He might be able to help you out as well.

Good luck!

PWL,

I somehow perseveered and found a really good site that listed many of the local Pony, Select, and Prime team associations. I have recieved eleven return e-mails and they all seem interested. TASO Rep from the Alliance Chapter called and gave me names of two people he knew that might be able to help. Thanks for your assistance. Have a good year on the diamond.
