I just sent my assigner a check for High School and Legion games for 2006. I have not been assigned a game yet. I also just received a new set of shin guards I ordered after Christmas. I had to pay for them also.
Most folks who start a new job have to work for several weeks before they get a paycheck. I expect to buy equipment and pay fees before getting paid anything.
