I noticed as well that Cuba will not be permitted in this "World" event. So much for making it a first class showcase. I'll bet it won't be hosted in the USA in the future - EVER - if this restriction remains in place. Can't say as I would blame the organizors a bit. The one thing I've always enjoyed about baseball is that it IS an international sport. It would be wonderful if governmental politics couldn't control who plays and who doesn't.
