Same as I gave to BBUMP in his thread

Start by teaching professionalism and the importance of their officiating duties. This is applicable to all sports officiating.

Reinforce these principles every couple of weeks and on every quiz/test. The majority of acceptance for this level of officiating is social skills and a much smaller part rules knowledge and mechanics. Yes, rules and mechanics are fundamentally necessary and cannot be ignored but socially looking the part of an official and being able to convince others that you know what you are doing is the greatest part of selling any call.
