Good guess. I would be hesitant to call PD with "he pushed me". They have more important things to do, and I have more important things to do with my time also.

In some states you might want to do that. In Connecticut there is legislation very close to becoming law that makes it a class C felony to assault a sports official.

Reach for the starts just in case you miss and only grab the moon. IOW, ask for something huge like a lifetime ban and if he gets less at least they will know what your expectation was. Also, please don't let the leagues punishment decide if you press charges, that's automatic.
