Tony, I see where your coming from, and understand what your saying.
If your situation happened, I'd put an end to it. In mine, however, the visiting team was trying to put the ball into play so the defense could make plays, rather than continue to blast away. They were doing what they could to make the defense feel like they were still in the game and not being given outs. It was actually very classy on their part.
