Some coaches teach their players to have a delayed swing on a steal attempt in order to distract the catcher.

What would have to take place in order for the runner to be called out? 6.06c seems to deal with body movement by the batter when the catcher is making a play.

For the runner to be tagged before reaching a base!?

The batter turning back toward the catcher after the swing, and swinging the bat around in the air might do it too.

It takes extremely obvious intent, Spence, to call an out for interference on a play like this.

I thought it would have to be something drastic. While its obvious the swing is not intended to make contact with the ball, it doesn't seem like its interference.
