Game 7 tomorrow -- never count my Cards out at Busch.
Although the pitching does concern me...and Beltran is the one man in baseball that I DO NOT want to see coming to the plate, ever -- more than Bonds, Jeter, Ortiz, ANYONE. |

Remember Fisk winnigg Game 6 then the Sox losing to the Big Red Machine? The curse is about winning the WS - not about getting there so it's too soon to tell.

ALCS
Now maybe we have heard the end of those crying Red Sox fans, and all their blabbering about the "curse".At least the loss by the Yankees can have SOME good point......

You got it backwards, bring on the Cards. Thanks to Clemens in both the NLCS and the All Star game, the WS starts in Boston.
Of course the Yankees have won the most World Series but the Cards are #2. We just had the Yankees for lunch and now were going to have the Cards fir dinner. No more Harry Brecheen (3-0 in '46) no more Bob Gibson (3-0 in '67). Bring 'em on. G.( |

I think both League Championships Series were the best ever and I bet the World Series won't disappoint. Both teams are dealing with injuries but they both have heart. Good Luck (but hopefully not enough)
Cards in 6!
