Per Roder, the same B CAN run, same as for any similar uncaught 3d strike.

I believe that Roder has the better of the logic based on the Rules, but since there is a lack of Official [as opposed to Authoritative] Interpretation, you pick 'em, and sell your choice: if you get protested [which I think unlikely] you have good authority to back either position.
