My first reaction was who cares. But, after looking at the article and having lived and officiated on Long island for 10 yrs, my congrats go out to you and your efforts to help others. It is not ONLY more important in life, it is certainly much more rewarding. Even beyond calling that perfect game.

I see that you are a social worker by trade.

Do you find yourself asking the players and coaches "And how does that make you feel?", on occasion

No, but except for the real idiots, I can work a coach and avoid a problem. However, being an advocate I have less tolerance for general bull****.
