Just reminiscing about a game I played a few years back...

Our team's power hitter, who happens to be my brother, walloped the ball to center field and took off for first base at full speed. When he got to first and was rounding, our first base coach told him to slow up and take a walk (HOME RUN)! So my brother pumps his fist in celebration and trots on toward 2nd.

Meanwhile the long ball still hadn't landed yet and when it did, it BOUNCED OFF THE OUTFIELD FENCE IN FAIR PLAY. So the entire team is screaming at him ("RUN! THE BALL IS FAIR!"), but he just keeps trotting with his head in the clouds, now on his way to 3rd.

When the shortstop tagged him out, you should've seen the look on his face. Priceless.

I don't think he had any more big hits that game and we didn't bust his chops too bad. If only a camera had been rolling...
