For those of you who dont get YES, or who were smart and slept in,might be interesting to know that in the Yankee/Yomiuri Giant game they used a mixed MLB/Japanese crew,with the local ump behind the plate...I didnt realize THAT until around the third inning when I got a good look at his uniform patch...I believe the second base ump was also from Japan..the MLB guys were Cowboy Joe and Bucknor...I am ASSUMING that there was a similar arrangement with the D-Rays/Hanshin Tiger game...the plate ump in the Yankee game did a VERY nice job- nice big fat strike zone..nice big fat strike 3 sell. Will be interesting to see if tonight's [tomorrows?] Yankee/Hanshin game will have a different set of umps...
