Who is the winning pitcher in the following---7 inning game called after 4 1/2 innings. Home team pitcher throws 3 innings, is replaced while having a lead. The releiver finishes the final 2 innings. Game is called after 4 1/2 due to home team run ruling the visitors. Who gets the win in this situation? does starter have to throw 5 innings to getthe win?

If the game goes less than 7 innings, the starter must pitch 3 to get the win; if the game goes 7, the starter must pitch 4.

Why does the second person to post on a thread, quote the whole post from the first person? I am goning to read the first post. There is no need to quote the whole thing.

Because the board is flat, not threaded, so it shows which post the response is to.
