Balk to second with runner on second.

Is it possible to balk to second base? If so, how?

Are you asking whether it's possible to balk while a runner is on second? Or, is this a semantics challenge on the IITBTSB canard?

Coach says if pitcher steps back, spins and fakes throw, it's nothing. But if pitcher just spins around, w/o actually stepping off, fakes throw, it's a balk.

Coach is wrong. It's legal to feint to second from the rubber. It's illegal to feint to first from the rubber.

It's illegal to feint to third from the rubber in OBR; it's legal to do so in FED.
