Adult Baseball being played under OBR.
Situation; Runners @ 1B & 3B. Pitcher on the rubber fakes to 3B then throws to 2B to make a play on R1 stealing 2B. Balk? Another Question; Can a pitcher while on the rubber ever fake to 3B? |

In OBR, the only remaining fake from the rubber is second base. Rich is absolutely correct.

well, i think the pitcher can fake to any base, if he steps off the rubber and becomes a fielder. so again, it depends.

That said and to counter Lastump's comment, a "pitcher" can't just start faking away just because he's stepped off the pitcher's plate. If he's "acting" like a pitcher, he can't fake to home regardless of whether he is or is not in contact with the pitcher's plate. |
