Is it just me...?

I was working at my computer last night and glanced over at the TV during ALCS game 6. Is it just me, or was the pitcher wearing a gray glove? At least that's what it looked like on my TV.

It wasn't gray. It was light black. Black is OK.

The glove I saw was a light gray.

So what? This is MLB not Little League. These guys are able to tell the difference between a light gray glove and a baseball.

The MLB rule prohibits gray. I've seen illegal gloves removed - but only upon a complaint by the opposition.

3.07 (1.15) Pitcher’s Glove
(a) The pitcher’s glove may not, exclusive of piping, be white,
gray, nor, in the judgment of an umpire, distracting in any manner.
