Oops who caught the ball?

Watching ESPN and seeing the play at first with Tx and Seattle that the F1 going to cover at first caught the ball instead of F3 etc, Crazy play but the BU called runner out, then the manager went out to argue about a pulled foot and he didn't see that F3 never caught the ball - have to admit it is hilarious.

Don't know why none of the other umpires didn't see it either ...

Thanks
David

Here's the link: Missed call leads to unusual debut for Seattle Mariners' Jesus Sucre | MLB.com: News

Also, watch F1's foot.... even if he did catch the ball, he was clearly off the bag.

A scoring question: Who gets the putout at 1st?

Brewers vs Orioles - Deja Vous? Not so much!

O's Chris Davis hits a weak ground ball toward first, Smoak (1B) moves for the ball, Harang (P) and Franklin (2B) converge to cover first, and Smoak flips the ball toward both players covering the bag......this time, the 1B ump (Larry Vanover) pauses just a sec to make sure the guy ON the bag has the ball. Harang shows it to him. OUT!

I had a flashback for a sec.

I'm guessing Vanover and all the others got the memo after the May 24 game.
