Prosthetic limbs
I saw someone with a prosthetic leg running on a treadmill today, and that got me thinking.
Has anyone ever worked with someone, or does anyone here, work games with a prosthetic leg? |

I have two prosthetic eyes, but other than that I haven't seen a thing!

Bob: I don't know what's wrong with me. I keep seeing spots. Ray: Have you seen a doctor? Bob: No, just spots!

Yo Ho Ho And A Bottle Of Rum ...
Middle school player with a prosthetic leg. Had trouble speeding up, and slowing down, but other than that, he played like anyone else on the court. He was a starter.

I have no doubt that if someone in that position has worked really hard, that he could do a better job than many of the intersection jockeys we see posing as a trail official. Haven't worked with any who have, but my hat is off to them.

Had a girl in 7th grade or so that played for one year for a very small school.Never even noticed it for a period or so. She did not play the following year. You've got to give someone like her a LOT of credit.

Partner = no.
Player = yes. Had a prosthetic leg. He was ~ 11, so he was still competitive at that level.
