Hi All,

Playing in 14u Nat'l Qualifer in Texas this weekend. Had a call and wanted to get your opinions.

R1 at 2nd, R2 and 1st. Batter in right side of box, shows fake bunt and R2 steals to 3rd. PU calls batter out for interference because when she came up from her fake bunt position, she interfered with the catcher making her throw by moving into the line of the throw.

Sounded reasonable, but I asked if that meant the player needed to freeze in a hunched fake bunt position until the throw was made. He said he understood and it was unfortunate.

I've never seen an interference call while in the box unless an obvious intentional interference.

Would you have the same call?
