Need the experts opinion
This last weekend I was working a 14U and 15U tournament. As you guys know I do 8-10 games a weekend and no doubt at the end of those two days the tolerance wears down. I wanted to make sure that I was within reason to run this coach.
The coach was arguing a fairly uneventful play that I'm not sure why he was even arguing as he never told me. What he said to me when he came out to argue was, "That's horse****. The only reason you made that call is because you are friends with the coach." I immediately ran him for questioning my integrity and character. It seems to be pretty obvious and my assignor agreed but there were a few umpires that said they would have walked away. Was I too quick or are they not quick enough? I guess he said this because I shook the one coaches hand. He came out to apologize because when I had them the week before he was out of hand and felt the need to apologize for it.
Don't hold back.
